We are in China!

Yep we made it at 5:20 pm Beijing time, 3:20 am Fargo time! 24 hours of traveling and despite our best, we NEVER get out of the house efforts...we made it!

Two examples of two people that never leave their house...

1) We got to the Fargo airport in PLENTY of time. A Gackle girl checked us in...smooth sailing past that process...Chris says, "It is all who you know!" So shaking hands with the clock, we thought, "Let's get something to drink and watch all of the Bison fans loading the plane for Frisco." Sipping on our drinks, seeing people we know (all in Bison gold and green) and having a great time, and wouldn't you know it, our plane was loading in 20 minutes and the line to go thru security was very long with Bison fans. Then one of the xray security machines went down, so the line started moving even slower. I nicely asked a Bison fan if we could budge in the line, he said, "yes", and we made it to our gate with one minute to spare. HONESTLY!!!

Flight from Fargo to Denver, and flight from Denver to Seattle...smooth sailing.

2) We landed in Seattle and learning that one must get to their gate ASAP and not mess around, we checked the flight boards...found Beijing and it said, "Now at 11:17". What?!* It was 10:40 and we were a long way from our new gate S11 and we were initially supposed to leave at 1:30 pm. We started sprinting...down escalators, on shuttles, through hallways, nervous tummies...thought to ourselves, "let's just check one more flight board to make sure."

Crucial NEVER get out of the house mistake...

Beijing ARRIVALS now at 11:17 am

Beijing DEPARTURES on time at 1:30 pm

Run and tummy ache subsided.

We did still check in at S11...scored some emergency row seats...ie: extra leg room!!! And 13 short hours later, we were in Beijing.

We leave at 7:40 am on the 8th (5:40 pm on the 7th Fargo) for Nanchang, the capital city of Jayne's province. Once there, we will check in at the hotel we will be at for a week.

We just skyped the kids...they look great!! Brynn said, "Where's Jayne?" Two more sleeps for Fargo, One more sleep for China...we cannot wait!!!
